Authorities have issued urgent advisories urging residents to avoid non-essential travel and exercise heightened caution while on the roads. The Whitefield Traffic Police have issued a warning to drivers, advising them to be cautious and alert due to the adverse road conditions. They have also been actively involved in assisting with traffic management and road clearance, particularly in areas such as Varthur Katte Road and Varthur Lake Road.

As the city grapples with the impact of the storm, calls for improved drainage systems and better urban planning to handle such extreme weather events are becoming increasingly prominent.
