Mangaluru: Customs authorities intercepted gold that was being unlawfully transported from Dubai at Mangaluru International Airport on Saturday. 

The confiscated gold, worth Rs 6,47,350, was found in the possession of a passenger arriving from Dubai via an Indigo flight.

According to the customs officials, the gold paste, weighing 107 grams, was concealed within double-layered biscuits and layers of cardboard boxes filled with chocolate.
