New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asserted on Sunday that the Aam Admi Party (AAP) "will not bow down" to pressure from the BJP to join their party. He made these statements while laying the foundation stone for two school buildings in Kirari, New Delhi, emphasizing that ongoing developmental works, such as building schools and providing free treatment, would continue even if he faced jail.

Kejriwal highlighted instances where key AAP leaders like Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain were sent to jail for their roles in building schools and Mohalla clinics. Despite facing investigations from central agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Kejriwal declared that the essential projects for the people of Delhi would persist.

In response, BJP Delhi chief Virendra Sachdeva dismissed Kejriwal's claims as attempts to divert and mislead the public, suggesting that Kejriwal is fearful of investigations.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate, after Arvind Kejriwal's fifth consecutive failure to appear for summons, filed a complaint against him in a New Delhi court. The ED seeks to question Kejriwal in a case related to the AAP government's now-scrapped excise policy.

Delhi Police Crime Branch continued its actions by reaching Minister Atishi's house on Sunday morning, aiming to serve her a notice regarding her allegations against the BJP of attempting to poach MLAs. As Atishi was not at home, the police waited outside, and she instructed her camp office to receive any notices on her behalf.
