Moral policing not be tolerated: Siddaramaiah
Mangalore: Moral policing in any manner would not be tolerated in the state, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Saturday. Talking to reporters at the airport on his arrival here, he said the police has been directed to deal with moral policing with an iron hand. The government had taken cognizance of the recent incidents of moral policing and steps would be taken to prevent such incidents in future, he said. The Chief Minister's remarks come in the wake of reports about acts of moral policing in the Mangalore district by some fringe Hindu outfits.
